IH ANYWHERE FOR MAC PAGE INSTALLATION AND USAGE GUIDE 1 Remote access to IH applications is provided through IH Anywhere. To use IH Anywhere you will need to install the VMware Horizon Client and have a 6-digit passcode. This document will guide you through the installation of VMware Horizon client. VMware Horizon Client software (version 3.x and above) must be installed for the best desktop experience and performance. According to the vendor, the VMware Horizon Client is supported on Mac OS X Mavericks (10.9), Mac OS X Yosemite (10.10), Mac OS X El Capitan (10.11), and Mac. Horizon Client requires a Mac OS X El Capitan (10.11), macOS Sierra (10.12), or macOS High Sierra (10.13) operating system running on a 64-bit Intel-based Mac. Horizon Client is supported with the latest maintenance release of Horizon 6 version 6.x and later releases.

You can install Horizon Client for Mac OS X on all 64-bit Intel-based models that use the Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later operating system.

The Mac on which you install Horizon Client, and the peripherals it uses, must meet certain system requirements.

1.Download and install VMware client from here (HKU Portal login is required).
2.After the download is completed, double click to unzip the downloaded file. Then double click to install the unzipped file “VMware-Horizon-Client”.
3.Click “Agree & Install” to start the installation. Click “Restart Now” to restart your PC.

3. Click “Agree” to start the installation. Drag the icon on “VMware Horizon Client” to the “Applications” folder.
